Our Top Picks from the WSA Fashion Show
On Tuesday last week, the BA Fashion & Textile Design students revealed their collections at their Graduate Fashion Show 2016! I look forward so much to the graduate shows and exhibitions, as they are always so fantastic. To see the culmination of their hard work and creativity, which always surpasses my expectations, is amazing.
Some of us from the Library went along and we thought we’d share our top picks with you…

My overall fave from the shows though has to be Mingu Yuan’s collection with their light floating fabrics, chunky faux furs and dramatic head pieces and adornments. Ethereal, earthy, and with a touch of nature giving them a fantastical edge. Mingu says on her website about her design work “I focus on classy, elegant and feminine design…and I really enjoy creating stories for my designs”
You can find fashion at 391 and Textile Management at 677 in Library 1. Textile Design can be found at 746 in Library 2. The Library also has a substantial collection of fashion and degree show catalogues from previous years in its archive. Please make an appointment by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to look at any of these.
